De Rerum Natura
As You Remember You're Nature, You Heal
As You Remember You're Nature, You Heal
A quiet place to remember what we are, and to learn the old tools for tending body, mind, and spirit.
There is a knowing older than memory, buried now under the noise of modern days. The plants that heal. The breath that steadies. The principles that quietly explain how any of it works. This is a still place to dig it back up, and to remember that you are something far older and more vast than the body you carry.
Begin wherever you feel drawn. The foundation, and the four doorways, wait below.
Seven principles attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, recorded in the Kybalion. They are the base on which the four doorways rest. Read once, they sound poetic. Read carefully, they describe the actual grammar of how reality works.
The All is Mind. The Universe is Mental.
Reality begins in consciousness. Before something exists in the world, it exists as thought. Your inner state is not separate from the outer one. Change the quality of your attention and the world you inhabit changes with it.
As above, so below; as below, so above.
What happens on one plane reflects on another. The patterns in your body mirror the patterns in your relationships, which mirror the patterns in nations, which mirror the patterns of the cosmos. Study any level closely and you start to see all the others.
Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.
Matter, emotion, thought, spirit. All of it is frequency, just at different rates. A stone vibrates slowly enough to look still. A feeling vibrates fast enough to feel like nothing. Raising your own frequency is a practice, and the body cooperates when you ask it kindly.
Everything is dual; opposites are identical in nature, different in degree.
Hot and cold are the same thing measured at different points on a line. So are love and hate. So are courage and fear. The work is learning to move along the line, rather than getting stuck at one end of it.
Everything flows, out and in; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything.
Tides come in, tides go out. Seasons turn. Moods rise and fall. Trying to hold a peak forever is exhausting and impossible. The practice is learning to ride the swing without being thrown off it.
Every cause has its effect; every effect has its cause.
Chance is a name we give to causes we cannot yet see. Every state you find yourself in was seeded by something earlier, often by you. This is not blame. It is leverage. If causes produce effects, then new causes can produce new effects.
Gender is in everything; everything has its masculine and feminine principles.
Active and receptive. Outward and inward. Projecting and gestating. These are not about bodies, they're about modes. Every creative act needs both: the seed and the soil, the question and the silence, the doing and the allowing.
These are not beliefs to adopt. They are patterns to test. Walk with them for a season and see whether the world starts speaking back.
Walk through whichever calls to you today.
The akashic field made navigable. Planetary cycles, lunar phases, and the rhythms behind your days.

Enter →One pair of hands built this place. The four doorways were made line by line, late into many nights, by a single person who found these tools while trying to mend their own life and could not, in good conscience, keep them quiet. There is no company here. No team in another room. Only a voice, offering what it found along the way.
And what it found is old. Strip away the noise of a life and a person is a field of energy wearing a body for a while. Beneath the job, the name, and the long list of worries, you are something quieter and far more vast, on loan to the earth for a short and luminous season.
If you have ever felt that the world runs on a frequency slightly off from your own, you are not broken. You are remembering. This place was made for the tired, the searching, and the ones who suspect there is more and have grown brave enough to go looking.
The seven hermetic principles are the map. The four doorways are the terrain you cross with it. Walk them in any order. Take what rings true, leave what does not, and trust that the body knows the difference long before the mind does.
What is held true here
Everything on this site is shared for learning and remembering. It is offered freely, in the spirit of knowledge that belonged to people long before it was sold back to them. Take it as study, as story, as a doorway. Not as a prescription.
The plants, the oils, the breath, and the practices gathered here have been used by human hands for thousands of years. They are powerful precisely because they are real. And anything real deserves respect. Some plants interact with conditions, with pregnancy, with medicines you may already be taking. A tea is not always gentle. An oil is not always safe on skin.
So use your own discernment, the sovereign right of every person to decide what enters their body and mind. Listen to your body, learn deeply, and when something feels beyond your knowledge, seek a practitioner you actually trust, of whatever tradition you choose. You are the authority over your own life. This place only hands you the tools.
Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, or cure, and nothing here replaces your own judgment or the care you choose to seek. What you do with this knowledge is yours alone, as it always was.
